thingQbator

thingQbator' is a CSR initiative of Cisco in partnership with nasscom foundation (Under Social Innovation For Youth - SIFY initiative)

The program aims to promote makerspace culture across partner universities by enabling enterprising students to work on innovative ideas and build scalable solutions. thingQbator is run primarily in partnership with Engineering colleges and fosters a spirit of entrepreneurship among students by encouraging them to think innovatively, work in a makerspace environment, access relevant mentoring from subject matter experts to build their solutions, and avail financial support to fund the expenses of their project.

There are 58 startups Incubated/ incorporated through thingQbator since 2018 out of which 35+ startups are still active.

  • Running an 18 month program in 29+ partner universities across India.

    12 month Cohort and 6 month Incubation program.

  • Engaged with 2819 Students

    to provide expert training & mentoring on emerging technologies and entrepreneurial skills

  • Funded the prototyping costs of 692 teams

  • 50 Lakhs Seed Funding & Incubation of the Top 10 High-Potential Startups through a TBI
